This dining room always felt off balance to the home owner and she struggled with the wall behind the dining table. To help balance the room, I hung a wall shelf that mirrored the width of the door opening at the other end of the wall. To solve the problem behind the table, we used two narrow console tables to ground that wall and a large mirror above to keep the space open and airy. We used the existing dining room table and brought in new chairs with more modern lines. The home owner was so happy and now loves her dining room! Swipe below to see where we started.
