Rosen Residence
This couple had inherited some beautiful antique pieces from their families. When I met them, the room felt heavy and did not represent their more youthful personalities. We discussed what pieces had to stay and what they could part with. Their home was originally built in the 50s and I wanted a nod to that mid century heritage. Ultimately, the look I decided to go for was an eclectic European cafe feel. The gallery wall was inspired by a portrait of the owner’s father. I incorporated a mixture of her artwork pieces, antique pieces that I shopped for as well as some modern store bought items. The overall feel of the space is now functional, fun and fresh, and now their antique furniture can shine! Swipe the image below to see the room before.
